New initiative "Rise East" to improve East Oakland

Oakland Thrive is working to raise $50 million in local funding, which rise East organizers say will be matched by national philanthropic organization, bloom Meridian Partners. It's going to be an emblem of hope. —Haziq Madyoun, Kron 4 News.
